NA Transportation Leaders

How do NA Transportation Leaders get these jobs if they don’t even have any experience? GT is so incompetent it’s pathetic. He’s just KH puppet and how do leaders like him? There is zero respect below him. When will KS learn that she is the reason her team has such high turnover? Will MS ever start doing her job? We all know they took Last Mile from her cause she screwed up holiday. Tired of pathetic leaders

Wow just seeing this, what an excellent thread - someone should forward this to BS and LH, do you think they have any idea what a mess that department’s leadership team is? I guess same could be said for MPO, SCI and the PMO… honestly I’m surprised KH is still working at Nike with the amount of ER complaints against her

I agree with @fal - this department has been a disaster for years so cleaning house and starting over would be the best thing to do. Put KS in charge, then everyone would just leave on their own - jokes! In all seriousness this mess isn’t GT’s fault but he is an arrogant pr--k, he should go to a leadership class before it’s too late (aren’t they supposed to teach leadership in the GLDP)?

I'm unsure if its a GT issue or if its a combination of existing/past directors under him. I think if we were to clean house it may change culture, because its not good and hasn't been since MR was the sr.director. Yikes. KS has a revolving door (how many departures?) and the others don't work well together--which is felt by most on the team.

This is spot on. GT’s arrogance is so uncalled for that it’s kind of funny - he actually makes me laugh during team calls. MS is a mystery to me - does she even know what her job is? The only thing she seems to know how to do blame other teams for why she gets such poor results - what’s weird is that she’s so territorial about owning work… it’s not like she’s going to do it. Lastly, I don’t even know where to begin with KS, she lives in a fantasy land where her programs are all “green and adding value” and that ACE was all “her idea” and that she’s some sort of prodigy when in reality the only thing she’s good at name dropping.

GT has zero leadership skills or experience in this field. For someone who is so clueless he’s very arrogant on how he leads this team. He’s a joke and many left because of him. The questions he asks are embarrassing.

Def would agree with mostly all of the original post here, besides GT. GT inherited a sh-t storm with the constant transportation issues that all international manufacturing companies are having. Wouldn't want to be in his shoes--he's a great leader, but can't change his team overnight. Regarding the others listed, it shows that you can be smart, but being smart doesn't mean you're an effective leader. Look at the turnover we have in that group--there's a reason for it. Who's KH?
