Look around, there are new job openings popping up daily and I don't see many of those disappear as quickly as they used to anymore. Could it be that people are tired of this cr-p and are walking away in droves while others are realizing what XOM is really like and are staying as far away as they can? I'd lie if I said I'm not looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

Our group has a contest where if we walk X number of steps each day for the month, we get 1/2 a day off. Encouragement to not be slugs and it's a fun team building exercise.

Get a clipboard and ask anyone you meet did they see EVP xxxx. When you accidentally run into EVP xxxx ask where is EVP yyyy. Rinse wash and repeat. Upper management will be convinced you are busting your ar-e running around campus. You will get merit increases and everyone will be talking about you. Ignore you co-workers who think you are a brown nose or ....

Lots of people leaving and EM doesn’t know how to move fast with moves or hires which compounds the effects
