I know of 4 that passed the 2020 pip and then we’re laid off. I haven’t heard of any one passing and staying.

I did, but I left on my own in early 2021. Department manager was an a-ho-e
Dude, once you got pipped, it would be extremely stupid to stick around and hope for a career
I'd honestly be surprised to hear of more than a handful. You don't change management's opinion in 3 months. The standard to pass is you'll rank excellent next year. Sort of the nature of an anonymous board, but I would really think they were trolls if we had more than 3 on this thread who passed PIP and didn't leave near or right after ranking once they found a commensurate position elsewhere. No sense staying where you aren't wanted.
We had an engineer that made it through pip then ranked outstanding the following year. When he handed in his notice he told them he had not done anything different. Also told them that proves how jacked up the system is. Good for him!
We have thousands of Haitians coming to take your jobs!
"For I had then laid wormwood to my dug" said Juliet's nurse in bougie shakespeare.
Anybody that passed through as you say, and not RE has moved on willingly.
They got weaned pretty easy with that sour taste.
Know of no one either. Many "retired" in Nov. Makes sense. "Borrowed time" pushed to the limit, near zero interest rate. Take the money and get the he-l out. More hellish now. LOL
I know of no one that stayed of passed PIP. Several retired instead of going through PIP process. I know two good engineers that were not citizens that did not pass PIP. They were very good workers and many were surprised they were PIPed. It may be hard to find someone who stayed as they PIPed many REs that left.
