2021 raises

Father Darren promised we’ll be back to the normal raise and promotion schedule starting Jan 1. What are you anticipating with respect to raises? I suspect many are just holding out till then to see how things shake out. Might be another healthy round of attrition if they lowball us.

BTC just got raises across the board to try to stop attrition.

The USA will not get such across the board which indicate attrition is desired in USA.

I got NSI’d this year so no raise for me until at least January 2023. Makes me feel very valued.

All raises will be made in surplus lubricants instead of USD, did you know.
I think you'll have a choice of dented Mobil 1 cans or broken-package KY Jelly.
A lot of people don't know we make the latter.

NI or NSI = 0% raise and Zero promotion. Everyone else raise depends on performance and where they are relative to salary reference. If you dropped into a lower bucket, likely pay raise will be 2 to 3% at most. Highest ranked could see middle teens or more if you are below your reference band

I know that no one feels sorry for us, but this is a very bitter pill for this single mom to swallow after working like crazy during Covid, Zoom-schooling my children, losing 401k match, etc. Supervisor acknowledged I was a high performer and acted like I was lucky to avoid NSI. No raise after two years in this environment is just hard.

I wish we would organize all of the worker bees and walk out. All of the operators, power point jockeys, and everyone in between. Watch the walls of the Emerald City crumble upon the Wizard. A they can dream, right?

I’m anticipating what the dataguide already has spelled out for average raises in each group.

Everyone has a salary reference point which is driven by performance rating, CL and age. Individual salary increases are determined in large part by the salary reference. Your actual salary is targeted to be near or at the salary reference.

The lower the performance rating, the lower the salary reference. If your performance rating drops, your salary reference drops and you are now “overpaid.” No increase for you!

You may be among the thousands of employees whose performance rating dropped over the last 1-2 years. Get ready for little to no salary treatment for years.

Imagine groups like GP and HR which were whacked by 40+% the last couple of years via layoff and NSI. There are many survivors who dropped more than one performance category because the lower half of the rank group was gone. No increase for well, maybe ever. Yikes.

I am surprised that he remained as CEO of the company.
