BNY Mellon is once again proving that it doesn't care one bit about its employees and their wishes. They'll put all of us at risk to bring us back to the office for no good reason despite the overwhelming majority of employees preferring WFH. This is not going to change. There are better employers out there. If you get a chance to join one, jump at it.

If I could leave, I would.
Worse than now? Doubt it...
@1nqi, the .5 percent risk is average. People who have health issues or are older have a 5 to 10% chance of dying.
Would you drive 200 mph if there was a 1 in 200 chance of crashing and dying? I'm sure you wouldn't do it needlessly but would if you had to for some reason. The same should go for WFH, there is NO reason for most employees to take a risk like that.
every other bank / financial firm seem to be asking you to take the jab.
dont really see anywhere else safe
1000 out of 1000 people eventually die...
There are risks that we all took every day prior to covid...te---r attacks, workplace violence, etc. Waking up every day is a risk.
At least 4 of those 5 have severe medical conditions that are a contributing factor. Healthy & young people are not at great risk of fatality. The experimental jab is also a risk. A risk that I consider unwise for a large population of the country.
I'm no covid na-i, @hwa, but 5 out of 1000 people dying sounds like a huge risk to me. And death isn't the only thing you should be worried about with covid. There are plenty of other harsh symptoms, both short and long term.
Wells Fargo and US Bank delaying return to office
Could be worse.
