Who in their right mind would buy a copper network. That would be a waste of money. Just invest minimum capital to keep it on life support, until it dies a slow death.

To sell you must have a buyer…

Whining workers won't know why they aren't needed anymore.

The same "whining" workers are the same ones building out the fiber network. Job duties change, sorry you are included in the plan. Bye.

Stink's strategy:

  • Sell T's copper plant to Century Link for a shiny nickel and Stink will collect a $9M broker fee.
  • Buy Century Link in entirety for $100B and Stink collects another $9M broker fee.
  • T pays Century Link a $5B "Ratty" fee when the merger falls through!

Enrich the Stink and layoff more!

Don’t forget ; it’s the linemen who rollout fiber. T won’t even pay for eye protection.

Sell it to who? There is no value to it other than scrap.

This is exactly what AT&T should be doing - dumping copper and the 20th century regulation that comes along with it.
It's a wireless and fiber world going forward.
