@3my, please seek some psychological help.
OP: if you are part of the "diversity and inclusion" subset you will be fine..... Even if you suck at what you do, everyone stays, everyone gets hired now if you are in the subset. Even if 3 people have to get hired to do one job, filling quotas is more important than job expertise. The jobs race has changed, we will continue to win. If you are part of the subset you are fine. Weeding out everyone else, and if you are part of the weeds be worried. Cuts are coming to those with a little grey in their hairs or long in the tooth days are numbered perhaps with the exception of JD of course.
If you get let go, you’ll find a new job almost immediately. Market is too hot, unless you plan only live in Portland or Oregon. Then… market is ok.
You probably haven't been there long enough to get tied up in the politics that play a big role in who gets shown the door. You also haven't been there long enough to get pigeon holed into a role that has nothing to do with your skills and makes you look less valuable.

not true that people who have been at the company longer get let go first. this could be true to people closer to retirement age but otherwise there are younger people who have only been with the company for a few years or less that i know who were let go
No, there is no logic whatsoever as to who is let go for layoffs!
