I gave notice because I can't take it anymore. It turned out that it was not too difficult to find a new opportunity. Since I’ve been working hard so far, I wouldn’t like to leave a bad impression at the end, but on the other hand, I have no motivation to work and all I think about is how soon I won’t have to think about T. Is it worth working hard until the last day?

I also left because i couldnt take it anymore, had a very incompetent manager, she only cared about herself and left the office all the time, she couldnt answer questions and they put us on new systems that no one knew how to use. They offered SIPP and left.
I haven't done any more than necessary to get by in 10+ years. It's great
“Fear of not losing your job only makes someone work just hard enough to not get fired” Constant threat of layoff year after year after year combined with eliminating individual (IPA) bonus and no more raise if you worked hard your entire career to get above midpoint, has given me new perspective. I no longer work as hard as I can because there is no incentive. No one seems to notice and I don’t feel as stressed. And the more benefits and vacation days they take away the less I’m going to work, fair is fair.
Keep in mind that, per company policy, your supervisor is forbidden to give you a reference after you leave, good or bad. HR will verify your employment dates; that's all.

I worked as hard last day in 2020 as I did first day in 1999. There is something called integrity, unfortunately many have lost that quality.
