Most of mine went into trash or donation pile with exception of a Valdez do-dad I got from someone who retired when I started.
I'm an old-timer.
I figure my collection of "Team Alaska - Exxon Valdez Operations '89" might be worth something one day. 20 or so t-shirts, backpacks and several crystal paperweights.
Found them all in a box at a New Jersey site in '02 or so.
A legacy for the grandkids.
Line the dog’s bed
I wear them to work. Thinking about getting “with distinction” embroidered on the arm.
Using it to soak up dog ur--e and pick up dog po-p
@qpc+1cjaT1vF That is a great idea!
I stacked all of my FRC's, shirts, and XOM branded items in my office before I left.
I will keep them and sell them to museums one day, and I will be $rich$.
Gave it all to Phil. Land Phil.
Have a quilt made from them. At least that way they'll provide some comfort.
Shop towels for car work...
I had a shirt and maybe a backpack and one coffee mug from the company that was given to me (I would never buy any of this stuff). Honestly, these have been lost or thrown or given away over the years without much thought. I never really understood why some folks go all out wearing the company brand on a regular basis. I don't mind a free shirt but I also don't get carried away stockpiling junk.
Omg this is hilarious 😆 I’m dead!!
I think I’ll keep it as a token of my victory and as a compliment to myself for being brave to putting an end to things. I will use use to tell my grandchildren what ExxonMobil was since by then this company will either bankrupt or disappear.
Some thrift stores will pay cash for branded FRCs.
keeping it (but definitely not wearing it lolololol), when xom is sold for parts it's going to be vintage
I torched them with CVX fuel in my backyard. Danced my afro jazz routine around the bonfire.
"Put them on the floor and then touch them one by one. If an item doesn't “spark joy,” when it's touched, then I thank it for being a part of my life, and then donate or trash it."
LOL I gave it all away. EMIT never gave us XOM branded apparel anyway, because apparently we'd get kidnapped by wearing the logo. It's usually printed with the tagline of the year, some variants of "compete to win". Harmless enough to give others I think, and while it doesn't spark joy for me because of my psychological baggage, it could benefit other people and do less harm for the environment
Never bought any branded stuff. Only have the free shirts they gave. Will keep wearing them when doing yardwork and dirty stuff.
My maid used it as a rug to clean the floor.
