The U Management team: don’t be surprised to see mass exodus from the U if yall allow the T management team to force the vax on craft. Since the day the emails came out I’ve talked to a dozen or so people. Every single one of them brought up the subject of the email & also said that if the U management team goes through with this & agrees with the T management team then they are getting out of the U. FAAFO!

Craft technicians make far more than the average tech out there, believe me because I've been looking to get out for years! It'll be very difficult to find a job that comes even close to our pay scale! Nobody's going anywhere regardless of the the vax mandate! If you leave for that reason, you'll make T very happy because they'll just think you're too stupid for your own good anyway!
Stay and infect the masses before getting shown the door.
Mass exodus? Hyperbole much? You'll get whiners saying they will leave but the will not. Big talker, little action. That's all it is.

I doubt the U worries at all about losing members... Most of their customers just pay their dues and go along like a good little un-represented obedient member that does what they are told by an organization that they pay. Some of their members pay because it is their paid protections from getting fired, they know the union is the only way some of them keep their job. Most of the members are in states that do not give employees a choice of what organizations they must financially support and those employees are just stuck paying dues for the entire time they work for T. But, the members that actually think and have opposing views and believe they should receive representation for their dues are not the people that are desired by the U so, even if some people leave the U their dues will be missed but their membership and thoughts will not.
There will be no mass exodus from union or management employees. It apparently feels good to vent anonymously on a message board, but VERY few will take action. Instead, the majority of personnel will endorse the new corporate policy by complying.
Unfortunately many of you are customer facing and will have to comply. T will force management to do your jobs when you get fired. And since management are forced to get vaccinated, well… you see how it will go.
The union will not have leverage under a pandemic deemed an “urgent threat” by the CDC. Sorry.
