I pretty much have been working from my home with Verizon Wireless for the past 11 years. Yes, I have a desk in an office and maybe once or twice a month I visit that desk for about 3 or 4 hours. My real office is a desk with a computer at my home and a company vehicle to go to the job sites. And, yes... I have to deal with other workers on the job sites and interact with contractors all the time, most of which can hardly speak English and have BO that makes one wonder what kinds of living conditions they live in. So... if you can work from home I would advise everyone to do so but let me warn you, working from home demands a steady hand and a good work ethic and the ability to focus, also you need to be a self starter and self managed... which would exclude most unionized workers. That said.... ask to be set up at home, get an EDN laptop, monitor etc. and give it a good try. If work from home works for you then work with your manager to keep it going!

This isn't 5th grade. Not everyone gets the same treatment. Jobs that can be done from home are, you can't install things in people's house from home. Grow up and quit trying to get something for your laziness out if a crisis.

Why is it ok for 100 fieldtechs to gather at gararge in morning maskless, than go into 5 strangers households a day who are almost always maskless, than go home to there family.

But those in office get to stay home

Divide and conquer

Such mo--ns. They are not doing WFH on a permanent basis. No one hates the union or trying to persuade anyone’s opinion. We will be WFH until Dec 31. They will extend after Sept 30 until end of the year. I’m telling you

Sooo many butthurt non union people in here. They try so hard to make us hate the union, when we all know the union and the company are working it out as we speak. The only one who could mess this up is the union and they know it. Ba--s in their court.
