Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Question

Is it legal that we are being asked to work in the office because we are vaccinated? The non vaccinated are not being required to work in the office at this time. Is that not a type of discrimination toward the vaccinated?

they will eventually call in the unvaccinated people. it's a process, not discrimination. Stop looking for problems where there arent any.

I’m sure it’s, based on 2 reasons at least, 1st is they used vaccinated associate as a testing mouse especially when they have no evidences show WFH is no good for the employee, for 2nd reason, yes it is discrimination for both vaccinated and unvaccinated employee of ignoring of the will of both sides regards the fact there might have unvaccinated people who wants to go back and vaccinated who doesn’t want to, it’s a punishment for those who vaccinated and uploaded the card earlier than those who vaccinated but didn’t show their card at the end. It’s lose-lose-win situation, all GOM and executive included our CEO should go back to office first but not all of them did that.

Actually I was not told that if I told I was vaccinated I would have to return. That is not true in my case and I’m sure it happen to others. I would not have told had I known I would be penalized for it. I will return and do sub par work

I'm sure it is. Uploading your information was voluntary and the bank made no secret the vaccinated would go back first.

Not sure if it's legal but it definitely feels discriminatory. Wouldn't be surprised to see a class action arise given those who are vaccinated are not being given a choice to return or stay home.
