Everyone has different issues with people in the past. Some good, some bad.
If you actually had the opportunity to KNOW Pat, you would know that the negativity that you’re all spewing is false. Pat is caring and sticks up for his team. He has made so many positive strides for company. His immediate team is crushed. Please remove your crushed egos and hurt feelings, this is business.

I also enjoyed working for Pat. He was given quite a few roles and tasks no one else wanted. He was good at transformation. To the comment around his teams didn’t get things done. In some cases that is true. A lot of the DSM work was throw away but it did get Bank and CUS into ETG. It’s also hard to make progress when your team / role / reorg happens every 2 years.
I heard Don Adcock is out. Now there is a guy that never did anything for the company. What did his teams do? Nothing, no one in ETG or FTS knew what they did. Although there have been so many SVP’s over the years like that. Take Brian Swanabeck. No idea what his team did for years.
Lastly though with Don and Pat out. I think they are the last two OFS SVP’s in FTS. It’s all OFD now and who is in the boys club with Guy. Isn’t it great working for New York now.
He is a jerk. He may have helped you but none his team(s) achieved anything. They talked a big game and delivered little. Getting booted was deserved.
I assure you Pat is nowhere near self-centered. Full of himself to a degree—yes. There’s no way he would’ve survived any other way. Besides, he Gave me one of the best opportunities in my career, which in turn has led to the greatest opportunity in my career. I wish him nothing but the best. Dude is a true boss!
