Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Wait until September or go?

This is the first time I’ve been looking for a new job more seriously because I’m a little worried about the layoffs that are around the corner. I got one offer but it is not very satisfactory, the benefits are worse than here so I have a hard time whether to accept or wait a little longer. These are uncertain times to simply turn down a job, who knows how long I would have to wait to get something better than that, and on the other hand, I wouldn’t want to miss a package.

Why do need others to tell you what to do? Your life, your career, and your choice!

Ain’t no one being let go (maybe a few leaders offered choice of new role or package) with the GT re-org. Just shuffling deck chairs.

Don’t leave for a cr---y offer. Wait to find a better spot, and take the package! Nike historically has been very generous. Don’t leave potential money on the table!

Sounds like you want to leave anyway…. Negotiate a bit, but take the offer.

I assume you have no idea if hypothetical September layoffs would touch your team, or you, individually.
