Like someone mentioned a few posts back. All HR needs to do is to spread rumors about layoffs. People will leave on their own. If enough people ends up leaving, they don't need to lift a finger and ends up saving the company money.
The down side to this strategy is that the top contributors with transferable skills end up leaving. However, HR determined long ago that this was an acceptable sacrifice.
Two of my senior directors left the company. Zero impact. No replacements.. No red flags.. heck no flags raised at all.. Its work as usual. Keeps me wondering, how many more can leave before people notice.
dump at 60.. get a few calls too, to get more $$$

No announcement of impending doom or mass layoffs in the earnings call. Some of you must be so disappointed.
Depends on how long interest rates remain 0%... Cisco stock price will continue to rise with ultra low interest rates. The stock isn't performing well due to revenue or new products.
What's everyone's target stock sell price? Surely this upward climb can't be sustained much longer, been a great ride lately..
