Changing Mod 75??

I heard they may be Changing the mod-75 rule? Anyone else hearing the same thing or know what is changing? I'm nearing retirement and need to know if this will affect my benefits.

A key point to add that the article references is that a 5/5 offer does NOT apply to pension. So legacy Ameritech who see a roughly 2x increase in the limp at mr75 would still need to stay the full time or get shorted a significant amount.

For some Mod75 is full pension lump sum. Mine will double when I hit it.

Rule of 75 normal or modified means nothing after this year. The main reason to get rule of 75 was to get retiree benefits which are gone after this year for management. I am sure that will also be negotiated for next contract.
