Do they really think that interns who were employed remotely will agree to be relocated after the RTO? It seems to me that they are just looking for ways to get rid of people 'elegantly'.
The market is a little better now and I don’t believe anyone will agree to be relocated.

I think they were told when they took the jobs, however that does not mean the interns will relocate. Most of them did this for exp on the resume. The new generation is not like the past. If something doesn't suit them they would not hesitate to quit on the spot without a plan.
relocate for an intern position???... it does not make sense..
