CVX stock price sucks. It has done nothing but gone down since mkw and peb sold their shares at the top of the market in January 2020. Interesting how the stock crashed the next day!!! I guess they “DIDN’T” know. And even with the dividend, the stock is still not worth it. If CVX want investors, they need to split the stock to entice people at a lower $ cost. every investment advisor I have talked to says the stock will never be what it was and it’s best to get out!

Warren Buffett is holding a good bit of Chevron, even as he moves more than half of his assets to cash (which says a lot about stability in choppy seas!). I am sure OP, however, that you know better.
