Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

There are three types of employees at HON

There are highly motivated high performers who are trying to prove they are better than anybody else and are always outworking everybody else despite the fact they never get a promotion. (Don't be this guy/gal for your own sake.)
There are slackers who don't give a damn and sometimes can't even do the bare minimum but are still getting promoted. (Don't be this guy/gal for everybody else's sake.)
Then there are the rest of us poor souls who try to do our jobs to the best of our abilities as we pray a new opportunity at a better company magically appears.

@2ojk Yep, pretty much.
And, the Realistic’s are the 10% of the people that do 90% of the actual work.
The other 2 groups are too busy running around putting on a show for each other to actually do anything productive.

  1. Loyalist - Hey! Where is the kool-aid. Believe everything they are told.
  2. Puppets - Push parts to help out the loyalist. Control realistic. So nobody will follow the realistic’s, and will follow management every whim. Better known as propaganda police.

This is how the management achieve their objectives. These two groups of people. Help the management get their bonuses. They will also help them get promoted.

  1. Realistic‘s - Believe what they see in here. Won’t be out of a job when it all ends.

Let’s see how many trolls appear. The puppets and loyalist will be death of this company.

Attrition is nowhere near as high as this group believes. Count your contacts. Are you saying goodbye to 1 a month? 2 a month... real attrition is actually below average once you subtract site closure actions. I don't like saying goodbye to people either ... but normal is 10 percent a year.. in the hundreds of people I work with routinely that is several people a month.

This number is becoming statistically significant, at this point they’ll be hiring prison parolees since the people hemorrhages is at biblical levels

@eow, we need this site to tell our truths as we have experienced them. Most of that goes uncensored so try posting on-topic.

There is another type of HW employee who starts out as type 3 buts gets tired of waiting for a better job to fall from the sky and starts strengthening their network, updating their resume, and applying for jobs at other companies.

I would say there's a fourth - the snakes who slither into band 04 positions and will stop at nothing to meet their bonus target, regardless of the consequences that cause underlings to be put impossible positions to make good on the garbage promised to customers.

Yes, anything covid related gets removed and censored. Resist the vaccines, Honeywell will have a hard time hiring 50% new employees. He-l they are struggling to fill roles now. Stand your ground and ignore the sheep and id--t corporate doctors.

Good points!

BTW, I see that "The Layoff" thought police removed the thread posted last night on the biggest layoff coming to Honeyhell and America -- COVID jab mandates. When the smoke clears we can only hope that this site is censored out of existence just as they have done to others. Cheers!
