Thread regarding Ascension Health layoffs

The good

The good is they will bring in 2x-3x more staff to keep their 90% and higher in ticket closures.

They plan to do what our current FSs are burned out on.

Some pay increase if you ask for it and you’re stupid if you don’t ask for more! I heard they want to retain a little over 60% of currently employed techs.

I look forward to working with more people.

I encourage anyone to leave. Very few individuals were offered a retention bonus to not leave at the risk of losing the bonus and severance.

You will train your replacement and a few weeks before your last date they plan to have HCL doing the majority of the work.

HCL was advertising in our area so we could get some contractors and they couldn’t find anyone to hire. How the fu-k to they think they can bring on more staff to FS when they couldn’t even find anyone before? Bu-----t. FS is not a desk job, it requires physical onsite labor. They can’t find that.

My FS team all plans on leaving, either before or after HCL. They will not train replacements. Some already have job interviews elsewhere.
