Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

How much effort do you put into finding a new job?

Somehow it seems to me that those who have the most complaints are also the ones least looking for new opportunities.
It happens that colleagues who have always been hard workers and who seem to be satisfied with the conditions at ATT - are leaving, while those who are complaining all the time are still here.
The first time I wanted to leave I applied for a new job and I found a new job in record time, I am leaving in a few days.

Yeah, same here…when I was 25. Things are a lot different when you are 58 and spent the last 30yrs building a “career” then the CEO laughs in your face and says you were foolish to think the company would actually keep its promise to provide retirement benefits. Only executives have benefits promised under contract, not you, silly rabbit! May as well just ride the wave til the bitter end at this point.
