What does this mean? Didn't Raja make a big press release of Ponte Vecchio last week, claiming nobody beat Nvidia until now?

An AMD/NVIDIA supercomputer announced in 2021 will be delivered before an Intel supercomputer announced in 2015 and originally scheduled for delivery in 2018.

That's everything you need to know about the state of Intel.

DOD should not be doing any business with Intel after all those years of milking

No penalties during COVID pandemic years. You'll see written in history... how covid helped bail Intel's a55 and PG's a55

Not sure about the contract with DoE/Argonne, but most likely, if you delay or even fail delivering on time what you promised, you need to pay a penalty. In addition, the 20% price hike by TSMC will further reduce A21 profit. In the end, Intel may earn $0 or probably lose money from A21.

PVC is, and always has been, a dumpster fire. A21 was A19 and will most likely be A23.

Intel is building the best hardware and greatest stuff in the world

PVC is delayed, Sapphire Rapids is delayed, A21 is delayed. Intel isn't going to be the first one to build exascale machine. The list goes on.
But you have to shove some US govt money into Intel, so let's proceed with this s--tshow with DoE.
