All this woke BS will tear VZ apart, pitting employee against employee based on race, religion and politics. Our woke (socialist) America hating CEO decided to drive the wedge into the organization. I know several long term VTeamers who left the company because it’s become so hostile. All this woke BS is going to bite our shareholders in the pocketbook. Our stock is far underperforming the market. Leadership team should be fired and replaced.

The article was not a “hit job” from FOXBusiness. They were just the 3rd party picking up the report from accuser Christopher Ruffo, as reported in City Journal. So is it true or not? Are they teaching this or not?

The article was a hit job and not based in reality. Verizon does not support “defunding the police”. The article was written with the intent to garner views and comments (aka RATINGS) by playing on the fears and ignorance of a select portion of their Fox’s target audience. They made this accusation knowing their average reader would be unable to take the training this article referenced. So, the average reader only sees the fake report without benefit of seeing the truth

Verizon just wanting to present itself as a company with sensitivities.
In reality, they’d bring back child labor if they could get away with it and there was $ in it. All giant companies would. Tell me I’m wrong.
Newsflash: Giant companies do NOT care about anything but $$. It’s what they do. That’s ok, but just realize the rest is BS

They just sent us an email about this and there's a whole paragraph of bu-----t oops I mean verbiage that they are forcing us to say to the customer if the customer asks about this. I prefer to tell the customer that I am unable to discuss it rather than tell them about how Verizon doesn't deal with discrimination or racism because we all know that is a blatant lie. They are the most racist and discriminatory company in my opinion so much that they were sued in 2011 for their discrimination against the disabled. They lost in this law suit and retaliated against us with forcing payment of health insurance and cancelling the 5 day short absence paid days with that dreadful contract in 2012. Anytime they get sued for wrongdoing they abuse us in return. With that being said, they were just sued again this past June and for what??--discrimination..I guess we'll be losing something else like them not offering the SEIPP if those 2 former co-workers won their case..smh. It's just time to leave.

There are a quite a few anti racism trainings on the portal. Had a fellow vz employee give us a speech on voter suppression last fall. Everyone on the call was like wtf.

I can't wait till I don't need this pay check. Which is soon, to start blasting some of these people and leaders on their stupid linkedin posts. I know it won't make a difference but let them know that we are all on to their pandering bu-----t that they post. We never did sh-t for the first responders till we got called out cutting their data off, now we love them. Such bu-----t.

I didnt get much into the article and looked up the name of this global leader i had never heard of. They were VZ media. Wonder if this just was in the AOL/Yahoo group and not the main VZ.

It looks like a bit if a stretch. They had some people on who had previosly said things about defunding the police and crt who werent talking about that to Verizon? At least that is what i got from the tweets.
Personally i do question what often seems to be this non stop if you are not out there fighting for everyone who isnt an able bodied straight white male you are not a good person.

Verizon is a company not a person. Verizon doesn't need politics that they identify with and especially when we have a non American leader.

Not according to Fox Business, but according to Chris Rufo. Fox just passed his report in which he claims that about the Verizon’s diversity training.

In the same article, Fox also wrote this: “Defenders of CRT-type training argue it helps enhance dominant groups' understanding and empathy of what the oppressed experience on a regular basis.”
