I've started looking a while ago and I've already lined up some interviews. I wonder, how many are doing the same?

Just bend over & grab your ankles.
@2tck+1cwvYVnS, you are correct, everything is negotiable even hiring in on the shop floor. My deal didn't become negotiable though until i was here for almost 8 years. That was in 91 when i had gotten pretty banged up onsite. Considering it was operator error the company and my lawyer went into an agreement that they cover my doctors bills for the rest of my life, along with guaranteeing me employment until i decide to retire. If i had took the settlement deal they offered i would probably be laid up on the couch scratching my unemployed a ss.
Ahhhhh, i see now. You're a cubicle guy. No wonder you are looking.
It was negotiated into my contract at hire.
You didnt negotiate?
Im sorry, all kinds of things are negotiable.
Been riding this train for many years and will continue to ride it to the end. I'm old enough that i can sign up for social security if i get laid off right now, and i do not want to rebuild a career with another company.
Who said or where is it written that if the company shuts down, they have to pay you a year's salary? I have never seen or heard of this crazy remark !! LOL
Im waiting to be laid off cause im a trooper with nothing better to do.
Im gonna milk that cow and oil those teets
till i get bye bye money.
And if they shut down, they have to pay a years salary. Playing the lotto i am!
Most seem to be looking for new jobs at Greengate Manchester. Certainly the office staff. And it’s not to do with money or salary.
I am in CAPS in the Use group
Everyone I work with besides upper management is actively looking and doing interviews.
The writing is on the wall. It's time to move on. The division is dieing a slow death.
Pi-s poor management has ran it into the ground.
Oh oh, me me me!!!!
You're not looking myself here in the UK
I doubt I'm the only one.
