IBM CEO Arvind Krishna threw his support behind the creation of voluntary public
reporting on cybersecurity practices. The tech giant also committed Wednesday to
training more than 150,000 people in cybersecurity skills within three years.
Let's see how much of this training is offered to current employees vs. "New Collars" and new college hires, as this will help determine the necessary number of RAs.

Any info on how "older" IBMers could be part of these trainings from Google, Microsoft and Apple. ( Let's leave IBM out)?
Most of my new neighbors are in IT. Some are in Supply Chain. They all are from India. The job market seems very rich right now for people with IT skills. Looks like the job market is wide open.

Note that AK committed to training 150k workers in cybersecurity, but no $ amount commitment.
Wonder if this means we’ll just see 150k more IBM Security ‘certificate’ postings on LinkedIn, as required by checkpoint 😀.
Toooo bad ibm fired all the senior security experts, got rid of its sast tools, and has not invested in any real sense in its security practice in a decade.

Maybe they wanted ADT security but there was a typo.
Arvind mentions how the skilling will be delivered in his report... This is not really something meant for current IBMers to reskill.
Microsoft... "we'll put in $1 Billion! no... make that $10 Billion, oh heck... $20 Billion! IBM and security ??!... fageddaboudit. I left IBM in 2012 because I wanted to get into security - they had nothing then...and they still don't! Come-on man
