You really haven’t a clue how to run a major corporation. IF T actually asked you for your recommendations and advice…that’s when we roll up the carpets and get of the boat!
In April 2016, Frontier bought those Verizon operations, along with landline phone service, in Texas, California and Florida, and the switch-over was a mess. ... In the 12 months after taking over the Verizon business, Frontier suffered a net loss of half a million subscribers.
Original statements;
Verizon said divesting the landlines will help it focus on its broadband, wireless and Internet businesses.
Maggie Wilderotter, Frontier's chairman and chief executive, said, "This is a truly transformational transaction for Frontier. With more than 7 million access lines in 27 states ... (we are) "confident that we can dramatically accelerate the penetration of broadband in these new markets. "
Under the deal, Verizon will create a separate company for the assets being sold. That company will simultaneously be spun off to shareholders and merged with Frontier. It will carry $3.3 billion of debt that will be assumed by Frontier.
Outcome;
Frontier filed for bankruptcy in April 2020 after telling investors that its financial troubles and customer losses were caused by "significant under-investment in fiber deployment and limited enterprise product offerings." Parts of Frontier's fiber network were installed by Verizon before Verizon sold some of its operations to Frontier.
If I were running the show, a kingpin only looking out for myself, I'd do a similar deal to the Warner spin off with Discover, only with wireless (the money maker), and I'd make my self the CEO of the Wireless spinoff then let the old stuff head to hospice. The problem is the old stuff is not ready for hospice and is dyeing a very long slow death.
Now, prove your worth and tell me what I mean by "old stuff".

As Stinkey said in his latest recorded "live" connections, he wants to simplify everything and if customers are on legacy plans we don't want to keep around, too bad.
Apparently it costs too much to keep an old plan on our computer books--probably something to do with all the bad cloud decisions we made and charging us extra for all that "storage" or something. He'd rather ditch the plan and our customers because he knows more than a customer wanting to stay on a specific plan.

You cannot help a man that believes that he is the smartest person in the universe -the individual that knows more about anything and everything that in reality --- is clueless and asleep at the wheel. Does not compute.
He is not a leader and will therefore not lead. He is a walking, talking, balding unknowledgeable blowhard who is directing this company into oblivian.
