The team I am on has not seen a layoff in over a year. But those who are "talking" seem to think the ball will drop before November 1st, likely just before that date. What is bothersome is that not only the thought of a pending layoff , in general, but that our team has no deadheads. We form a real strong chain where I work. Someone way up high decides, but has no idea of the productivity of the individual link soon to be removed.

Doesn't matter that you're a hard working team. If they decide to cut you, they'll switch gears completely.
