Yeah i left this place for a 300% pay increase, a company car (even tho its mandatory wfh), a signing bonus of 6x my salary, and 8 weeks pto.
Some of us said "eff this" instead of waiting for a severance. Got a higher paying tech role with a different fortune 500 fully embracing remote work. I get a certification boot camp in October and education reimbursement far beyond the tax free IRS limit.
To he-l with WF, it's nothing like the good company they were when I was hired in the aughts.

Well folks, if you believe masks and vaccines are both ineffective, you could have a world of hurt ahead of you. When you get seriously ill or die from COVID, don't come crying to me...

Unfortunately, most of them are in unskilled/low-level positions, so who knows how much good it'll do.
Again, there are many studies that bring into question whether or not non-N95 masks are effective. Even if you look at the charts of COVID cases and when mask mandates are enacted, they have no impact. The pandemic is following Farr's Law.

I think it is safe to say, without the arguments, that there will be many who put on the masks who don't want to do it. It is not practical to simply run out and find a similar job.
Agree. A lot of chest thumping bravado about masks, but if it comes down to wear a mask or you're fired, you'll see a lot of grumbling people complying to keep their job. It won't be easy finding another corporate job that doesn't have the same requirement.
