Are active RIFs going on for certain groups? I saw one guy canned and supervisor intimidated other calls were coming.

Racist, sexist, and ageist much? The only old white men that show up and collect a paycheck are in the executive ranks. The rest of us are busy making plans to jump ship.

Maybe if you are an older white, unhealthy man, with no ambition, no drive or no self-worth...Have you tried actually doing something other than show up for a paycheck?

The stress of perform or “get chopped” or vaccinate “or get chopped” or disagree with leadership or “get chopped” is enough to make people lose focus and energy. I am someone who genuinely wants to contribute, but this environment really sucks that out. Agree with those who say that age discrimination is totally real and so is health and weight issues. If you are an older white male you are at highest risk.
Got grey hair? That alone is more than adequate cause to be RIF'd if not fired. When it comes to RIFs greybeards are always in season. Doesn't matter how the business is doing. It's the GE, er, Honeywell way.

Look at the wrong person with enough sway to get you canned? You shoot to the top of their list.
Heads must roll and it's easier to blame underlyings for the shortcomings of middle and upper management
