nothing new here. just the end to something that happened a while ago and is now settled.
@1vmm You are 100% correct.
To all my WF peers, let me call out this section of the story:
“A whistleblower, former Wells Fargo foreign exchange trader P.K., will receive $1.6 million from the bank's payout, the maximum available.“
For any of you that are current employees and come on this site CLAIMING we do shady business, it would be in your best interest to get proof and blow the Shhht outta that whistle. I’ve never seen anything blatantly wrong and I see highly confidential agreements/MRAs for many areas of the enterprise. It irritates me every time I see a post like that because we should be doing something about it-if it’s that serious. I wish something like this fell in my lap (if it was truly happening). I’d be shouting it from the rooftops. All I’m fortunate enough to see is laziness/stupidity from time to time. The majority of the employees are hard working and trying to do what’s right everyday while morale tanks and attrition hangs over our heads.
TheLayoff Posters: “See this Chuckie Schart guy does it again. Break up the bank!!!”
Let's be honest, both Norwest (Wells Fargo) and First Union (Wachovia) bought smaller banks and adopted the names of the smaller banks because their reputations were trash.
Fraud was SF based. Who doesn't know that? Wachovia, give me a break. Stop it already!
Wrong! If you look at any of the documents summarizing the many Wells fraudco issues, this started as far back as 2000 soon after the nor west heist of the original Wells Fargo.
No excuse but this happened from 2010 to 2017 under the regime of previous sc-m leadership. And lay money much of that management was from Wachovia.
sales reps are shady af
