Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Loss of motivation after returning to office

I don't think I'll ever feel optimistic about being here ever. I just do it now for a paycheck till I find a hybrid or remote role.

It's so traject to be forced back I feel depressed every Sunday now about a whole work week where I lose hours on commute that I used to get work done. Now I'm overwhelmed and burnt out.

Is this normal? I miss my old routine.

@2dbw+1d2NVzEO Yes, agile=flexibility, and y'all aren't flexible to RTO. Talent will come and go, but dull, obtuse and intransigent folks like you will be ousted for good.

The very definition of agile is flexibility. But then I guess it's easier for you to shine as it will be tough to retain or attract top talent.

Same. I'm in it to get the package soon when they start layoffs soon or if the next gig comes knocking (been searching)

I'm with you!! I kept blaming myself for uploading the vax card. If I didn't do that, I could've saved 2 hrs on daily commute and didn't have to go thru the stress caused by RTO. All I can do right now is to slack off every day while looking for a new job.
