EVERYTHING.... is at all time lows .. not even trending upward...

If there was hope in sight... fine. But there isn't ... a lot of "it's going to worse before it gets better"

Let him pilferage and raid our bank make his million$ and move on ... time to go dude.

Hostile Take-over From Within. It's almost like Charlie's job is just to take down WF.

@cwe here,

@irb - I dont think @hec is saying they hope 50k are let go. I think @hec is saying that they wish it was just over with instead of trickling out each month with notices. Having that hang over our head is stressful even if you dont think your team will be impacted. Each time someone’s let go, we all have to pick up the slack or figure out who is doing their work and it’s always difficult. I would probably take a cut, too. I completely understand. It doesn’t mean you can’t look around though. Hang in there!

@hec+1d3ihnzj Don't take this wrong, but there are some, and I am one, who really needs my job here at Wells. Going to another company, in my current situation, is not feasible. I will no earn what I am earning now, it will go downhill. So I hope your thought that so many will be let go is not correct. We will all find out in time I guess?

Maybe the bank can't actually afford to do what they need to do, as ironic as that would be.

I’m not sure they can find anyone else to do the job. But I agree with @cwe; it’s looking increasingly like this place isn’t salvageable as-is. I wish they would just lay off the 50k people over the course of a few months and let the remainers get on with it. Leave their comp and bonuses alone, give them decent benefits, and let them work from wherever they want. Then, let’s see how the bank does.

I don’t think this is gonna get much better. Even if remediations were faster, there was an upgrade and sizable attrition followed by an asset cap removal, a ton of damage has been done and meanwhile you have huge advances made by our competitors. New banks are opening all the time and they offer no NSFS, new mortgage lenders and servicers capping fees and doing wk faster. We are gonna be lucky to save any of this.

He's the highest paid banking CEO. Why should he walk away from that? He's not going anywhere and BOD's aren't looking to replace him any time soon. Sorry.

He can't look like a savior and genius of leadership if he doesn't let us fall to the depths before saving us.

This is orchestrated.
