Vaccine Policy Extended to remaining managers whose departments were given exceptions to Oct 11 deadline

Excerpts from the announcement:

We announced in August a new COVID-19 vaccine policy for managers. While the policy covered most managers, at the time, some Business Units made exceptions for certain management titles.
However, in an effort to help create a safer workplace and in alignment with the Biden administration’s vaccine mandate rules, we will now require* that these managers who come into work locations, client and customer events or sites, or who are temporarily working from home be fully vaccinated and compliant with the policy by Feb. 1, 2022, unless they get an approved job accommodations.

• If you’re not vaccinated by Feb. 1, 2022, you will be subject to discipline under the Code of Business Conduct.

If you did not receive an exception when the previous policy was rolled out, then you are still required to be fully vaccinated by Oct. 11, 2021.

*Montana employees are excluded by law from the vaccine requirement.

And there it is.
A federal judge in Texas issued  a temporary restraining order against United Airlines, blocking them from imposing a vaccine mandate against any of its employees in a nationwide class-action lawsuit.
United is prohibited from placing employees with religious and medical exemptions on unpaid leave until October 26 while litigation continues. The judge also prohibited the airline from denying any employee requests for religious or medical exemptions.

February is way too far away. The updated deadline should have been set to December 1st.

This company is quite talented at various forms of stealth layoff.

This narrative is better than the "collaboration zone" one, IMHO

Just announce on my Town Hall today. Anyone that has the "exception' MUST resubmit and have it approved again every six months in perpetuity.

And they finally used the word "FIRED" for any management types that don't have the exception.

Yet another free way for the Stink to get rid of more US based employees.
