Team achieved goal and overachieved. Grade 10 SA. No promo or $$$$ raise. Got $10k in RSU's. No raise now in three years. No one in my team got a raise unless they were promoted. No idea what you have to do to get a promo. Speak more BS I think.

I was simply a victim of massaging the budget

Yes, don’t worry, it’s all about massaging the budget. They have a crisis with another employee.

I recently left Cisco for another company after 14 years. I got 2X the RSU's to start at another company than I ever earned during 14 years at Cisco TOTAL. The only people getting equity are the ELT.

I received some RSUs earlier in the year and then a pay hike recently. But no "promotion"

before i left it was openly discussed that the new to career were getting the rsu's and increases since we needed to make cisco look attractive to new hires.

@1gai+1d4cN8Fm What do you consider a large number of RSUs?

I thought "Compensation Review Statements" were going to appear in Workday on September 30th, but I still can't see anything.

I figure I'm gone in the next layoff so will go ahead and start the process of leaving. I get very positive feedback from my manager, other managers, staff in my group and staff outside my group. I was given a large number of RUSs earlier in the year. But, something doesn't add up this cycle. No specific reasons were given. I believe I was simply a victim of massaging the budget, but it still puts a huge target on my back.

Zero RSUs is a sign. It triggers a HR-visible exception in the compensation tool, so this isn't done innocently. It's a sign your manager doesn't believe you're cut for the job, a sign it's time for you to look elsewhere, a sign you're reached the end of the road with that manager. Nothing good is coming your way in the future.

Lame on the RSUs.

There was a time in 2000s when there was a vast bounty of options and RSUs for most, and made many of us now Cisco LR'd old f@rts a tidy sum.

"Game over, man! Game over!

Pretty much everyone got something. So if you didn’t, you need to speak to your manager. Before he speaks to you.

Me: Zero TOO

Probably. Seeing some announcements about promotions in my group. Makes me laugh when someone gets a promotion to "senior" ... what does that mean, anyway?
