Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Another round of layoffs

They are llaying off all WFH folks, across the country, to move them to an office. Then they post on their internal home page all of these new jobs that are coming to WI. A little tone deaf if you ask me. Personally, I am glad to be out of here. These past 4 yrs have gone way downhill and no one in management gives a cr@p. The benefits director is so unprofessional & I'm sorry, I don't want any info from someone who knowingly came in to the office with Covid last year & exposed over 25 people so she could lay them off in person.

I’m a WFH employee for more than 8 years. They closed all the offices around me. I’m now supposed to move to one of 4 locations, or take a severance package. But no financial package has been presented. And yet they expect me to make a decision by 10/15. Huh? Truly backwards. I’m saddened at how this company has changed. No technology company should penalize WFH employees who kept this company afloat during COVID. His salary came from our hard work.

Anyone knows what kind of packages they are offering? No doubt, underwhelming..

Makes sense the benefits Director would lay off her staff. There isn’t much to manage just a sh!tty set of bottom of the industry benefits.

It is a great plan to layoff tenured employees with deep system and process knowledge because rehiring and training people has no impact to your bottom line, the staff that remain, or the clients. The Frankserv culture doesnt care about people and is tone deaf to what employees desire.

Yes. Every WFH employee will be asked to relocate or take the package. And it won't be in the next year or two - it will be soon (like this year). Frank is not joking about this.

When are these layoffs expected to happen you’re referring to, other than ones that are card services based moving to the new NJ location?
Do we expect literally every WFH employee to be told at some point in the next year or two to get to an office or take a package?

I am a remote worker. All of the PNW offices closed last year and years before and many moved to smaller, more affordable towns, but no jobs there, so most are pretty screwed.
