Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Fiserv needs a Union

With all the anti-employee items happening, a Union is needed and needed now. Think about what has happened to OFS:
Loss of flexible work arrangement
Loss of 15% stock discount
Loss of 3% 401k match
Loss of profit sharing
Horrible spouse surcharge on health plan
Loss of mobile phones

Just to name a few. Someone needs to speak for the workers. Zero chance any of these savings will be given to the employees.

We DID have profit sharing back in the day. Dont let these OFD people fool you.

And why should an employee use their personal phone for work business? You are just shifting the cost from a global corporation to an under-paid worker.

And we LOST 3% match when it went from 6% (industry standard) to the anemic 3% that we have now. Oh and is it being back-dated for the 12 months we lost it for?

Misinformation in OP.

  • 3% 401K restored Jan 1
  • no spouse surcharge exists, we require spouses to sign up at their respective companies if they offer health insurance
  • never had profit sharing
  • you can use your own phone like most companies

Make sure you are on the record supporting a union. If you get laid off, you can complain to the NLRB>

Why work for a company that has these sh---y practices. There was a reason people hated working for First Data. I would honestly move on quickly from this shithole.
