Two weeks since Dell announced some cuts I’ve spent hoping that I might find myself on the layoff list but nothing happened. I’m glad at least that some other people, who were afraid of it, that they are still there. Do you know how many people were cut in the end? Is it possible that these layoffs are still running somehow under the radar?

Where are the cuts, we need more cuts, come on people... more news about cuts. This is where I get my daily dose of dispair, gloom, and negativity. I'm bored, I want more of the usual vague "insider knowledge" about all the current and future cuts!

We also have lives to live and loved ones to care for, why should be sacrifice that for Dell when they obviously don’t care about us!
I am very upset that everybody here thinks only about one think - getting fired! Instead, think about how you can contribute to increase this company greatness. You should work day and night, Saturday and Sunday to make Dell great again!

Dell TSB announced that they are “tightening the belt” so budgets have been frozen for the rest of the year. Does that mean layoffs are imminent?
lots of negative views...yet nobody has been able to show/prove where it was mentioned two weeks ago about cuts. People post layoffs are coming and then click the down arrow on all posts but yet have no proof of actual layoff news. What good is a layoff site if people don't post what they actually know and not what they've heard, unless they're scared.
Why in the stupid h&ll do people post on a Layoff site crypt stuff? Say it or don’t. If you are here say what you know! Is it a game? No it is not. If you are playing get out! Also to anyone that is applying elsewhere, check the Layoff side for that company. So far the ones I am applying to have crickets. Working at Dell is very stressful and we can all be gone in a second.

What announcement of cuts? We have had several all hands in the past two weeks with no mention of any cuts. If anything, we're hiring and moving in the other direction. Where did you hear this?
