What is CL / P-T ?

I saw a number next to my name labeling CL/P-T. What is this?

Think of it as what is current level 22. Potential 36. Age or time to get there? The younger or new hires will have high potential and lower CL. You figure 2 to 3 years before a CL bump etc. the older you get your potential goes down and the years left to get there shrink. So if someone is 50 and a CL in the 20’s most likely you will never be an executive

Where do you go to find this out?

CL is your classification (i.e. CL16, CL18, CL21-24, etc.). When you're promoted your CL# will usually change.

I think P-T is potential minus time to develop, if someone isn’t close to their potential with not enough time before retirement, their potential drops

So it's bad when we see negative 5 and 0?

I believe that’s your CL potential. That’s a rating they give you that means the company thinks in your career, the highest you’ll go is that #
