Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Any word on layoffs tomorrow and which areas will be impacted?

I was wondering if anyone had any insight?

Layoffs are a morning announcement, at least for the congregation. If you haven't received an email that you are to be in a meeting for an unknown reason, it isn't going to happen today. Like I said, if they do it, expect it in, but no later than, October.

No one does except the folks in the nosebleed section and they aren’t commenting.

Rumors are just that. I started one a few months ago and it took off like wildfire, proving my point.

2k a month, has not changed in14 months. Whether its on a Thursday, etc. The fact of the matter, every month we lose a lot more then we gain.

These "predictions" are duds almost 100% of the time. There's some small scale layoffs in the last thurs of just about every month, and some small group in the bank getting laid off is pointed to as proof that the prediction was right.

The one large scale layoff that was "predicted" was a broken clock situation. Don't expect anything major tomorrow, just like the last few months of flops that this forum has got itself into a huff about.
