only 15% of (footwear) production remains in china. used to be double that or more (goal being 1/3 in China, Vietnam, Indo). vast majority of that 15% can be fairly easily absorbed elsewhere.

Won't happen. Nike security will censor any corporate correspondence for anti-CCP sentiments (in real time!) before they ever cross chairman Xi.
If anything, it just highlighted the fallacies of globalism. Any disruption to the supply chain hurts Nike, since they don' have a domestic supply chain. What will happen when the Chinese Communist party kicks out Nike during a potential conflict with Taiwan????
