D&A has a new leader , the second one in 8 months and lifecycle VP also left
IT has been a calamity since RJ's time. Bad leadership that valued loyalty to the tribe over real work. Nepotism prevailed. Incapable of delivering what they promised, always over budget. Forget the customer, the business requirements. It existed to create empires to fill up some pockets and feed their egos.
I can see that with the changes in leadership and demand for accountability, the people who were thriving under that toxic culture are now whining. I don't know if they new hires are better, but it's more than time for a change.

they brought in 2 people that have zero clue about the technology. one is from some bank and i can't quite figure out that hire. Everyone is looking to leave IT over that one and say she is clueless. People in IT have been sharing horror stories of how bad she is. The other dude, i dunno, he seems to say the right stuff but totally blanks out on All Hands like he's surfing Facebook or something. Both are low quality in my opinion but i'm not in IT so whatever.
most likely lost a political battle and expect to be axed... IT is mostly political battles over budget and resources. rename old departments with fancy new buzzwords
people unhappy about pay, probably? those who didnt get any promos are leaving for greener pastures.. Us herds should follow.
