Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

BOA leaves a lasting mark on you

I was laid off a little over six months ago. I tried to let go of all the animosity I feel toward BOA and its management for the way I was treated after spending 13 years there but it's not working. There is still this feeling of hate I get every time I think of it. Despite finding a new job that has so far turned out to be significantly better than the one I had, I can't seem to let go. I wish I could say that things will change with time, but right now it doesn't seem so.

Let it go. It’s not worth the stress. What was done was done. It sounds like your moving forward in a very positive way, career wise.
I was severed several years ago after a multi-decade career. The day it happened was in actuality, one of the happiest days of my entire stint there. Although I do miss a few of the folks I worked with but still keep up with them from time to time.
And yeah, I landed a much better gig, shortly after I was booted from the island.

We all make mistakes. Just be glad you've stopped making it.

You will have all supports from heart, one day CEO of bofa will pay for this and will be grilled by Congress just like CEO of Wells Fargo, lots of people are waiting for the moment and chance to do this.

Sounds like you stayed in a bad relationship for too long. Let it go. Life is too short to focus on the past.
