Has anyone heard news about when the next round of layoffs and/or retirements are coming for AT&T Business (Chow)?
There was a large number of retirements and layoffs announced on Aug 26 (off payroll Sept 9). It’s understood that numbers were not met. Next purge: 4Q21 or 1Q22 ?

Ill be honest, turmoil at t makes me smile as I am with one of their competitors and we want to take business from t. I used to work for t but got shown the door so I have no love for them.
700 of us outside the US who used to work in the IBM channel have just been transitioned to other companies out side AT&T. We did not really have a choice to move other than resigning
In all honesty. I am glad to go to a company who wants me. Good fortune to you all that stay at AT&T
In my out of region region they are sending work to contractors its so busy so I got that goin for me which is nice
No rumors of layoff . . . . . Yet . . . Only rumors of a work rebalance in Illinois and northern Indiana of central office technicians. Result of people retiring or going into management. Survey says next quarter (Dec 15 2021)
They don’t do layoffs in Business Services. They need as many people sitting around with nothing to do as possible.
Chow chow is definitely not in her current position due to racial preferences. That had nothing to do with it.

The attrition rate in Chows org should take care of any planed headcount reduction. This is another org that needs to put ROI calculations on all the business deals.

So many people are retiring on their own AT&T is hiring.
No need for layoff fear, anti-vax are getting terminate so they will be hiring instead of laying off employees.
