Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Collaboration in the office

I'm curious to hear about everyone's improved collaboration due to being back in the office. Personally, the amount of time I spend bullsh!tting with my team has increased dramatically - our product will go up in flames much quicker than it would have with WFH. Clients first, as they say. Thanks Frank!

Considering the "Great Return" to all facilities requires daily temperature readings, COVID self tests every five days, wearing masks everywhere, while management monitors badge swipes and keystrokes during work hours, I'd consider Frank's "butts in the seats, five days a week" to be a good indicator of where Fiserv is headed. Great work, Frank - you really know how to build a paranoid, toxic work culture while shi**ing on the employees that made this company great before you began trashing it. Get out while you can, unless you want to live and work in New Jersey.

Why on earth would you relocate for this company? They've demonstrated multiple times over the past two years that employees are completely dispensable. What if you left everything behind to go to New Jersey and then were unceremoniously laid off? I might have done it 5 years ago, but since the merger Fiserv isn't worth being loyal to.

HR - remember to space out your posts. It's obvious you just hit multiple threads in a drive-by.

I work remote on the east coast and my team has returned to their sites. I am seeing that they are able to get things done quicker and a lot of time I am behind them because of the conversations they have in person. I can't say what it would be like onsite, but as a remote employeeI feel disadvantaged not being at a location. Makes me seriously consider relocation if I want to stay at Fiserv.

I find that being back in the office is very different than before mandatory work from home.

Before mandatory work from home, I used to feel guilty after bullshitting with coworkers for an obscene amount of time.
