Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Guys

I’m sorry but I don’t think fiserv is that much different than any company that has more than 40k employees. They simply can’t know you personally or really care. You’re an excel entry. Now I think a lot of you had great success at smaller companies where you were valued. But once your company is acquired by something this big, you’ll simply never recreate that feeling. It sucks, I know, but moving on might be the best move. Best of luck

I left Fiserv for a much larger company. I don't care if the CEO knows my kids' birthdays or what my nickname is.

I do care if a company gives decent raises when they can for good work done, that they don't sc--w over bonuses, 401k matching, and other benefits just because some mentally-deficient CxO (see also Frank) needs to make the balance sheets look good. I care if there is a decent and even vibrant culture within the group I work in. I care if the environment is safe. I care if a company doesn't decide to install spyware to track and capture every millisecond of my time.

Fiserv's problems aren't about size - they're about incompetence, greed, and malice.

Clearly you are corporate, just a minion out of college, or just not in touch.

Clearly you have never worked at Big Tech

I'm fine being a cog but what's perplexing is Leadership doesn't value the JOBS. They don't care if Billing breaks and revenue is lost, if Implementations fails the client with delays, if Accounting misses Settlement deposits. That's short- sighted, frustrating and disappointing.
