GSSO Field NOT Making Money

The Global VP of security sales had NO idea in what she was doing in coming up with these goals. She gives the field a HUGE growth while she has a track record of just growing the business 1%. She WILL NOT even acknowledge she gave unattainable goals AND she IS NOT going to correct it. Many have left GSSO already and there are more that are leaving especially since the reality of not being able to make goal is sinking in.

will there be any changes after another disappointed earning? I feel like someone higher up has to realize that pan, Fortinet, and others are growing double-digit y/y vs cisco meager 1-2% growth y/y right?

Agree there is product challenges but I came from a well known security competitor and they had product challenges too regardless of being a well known industry leader. The difference is they have real executive leaders who know how to build a vision and create a strategy. I thought there was a vision and strategy here but I got a rude awakening shortly after starting. SB is not capable of this and it is obvious she is in over her head. I have learned that the grass is not greener on the other side. I am losing a lot of green here and the OP is correct, there is no making money in GSSO. I am now looking for an opportunity to go back to the competitor I came from or go to another competitor. Every competitor is growing and hiring except for here. Something wrong but wish everyone the best. Very nice people in the field in GSSO.

The product is a joke. Why would a good security sales person want to be at Cisco?
