Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Don’t see any hope at WF

It’s been a year and a half since I joined and I already feel hopeless for myself and for the whole bank.
It’s just so depressing. What should I do?

The silver lining of working at Wells Fargo. Its reputation, combined with the Great Resignation happening everywhere, means no interviewer will seriously question why you are looking after 1.5 years. So if you are so unhappy… start networking and applying elsewhere.

Get out now. Only stay if you have been with with WF for a long time (generous severance package ) or close to retirement

Wow. A whole year and a half? Do you think you should be promoted every year or something?

Leave? Seems like a silly question to ask here

I started about a year and a half ago too. I’m in the same boat as you too. I started interviewing and have a final offer at a smaller bank that will double my current income. Don’t give up. Just get out there and start selling yourself.
