If you're a 4 or 5, you'll do well. If you're a Meets, then expect to take a hit as WF is "paying for performance". If you're inconsistently meets, forget it.
Correction: Not if your manager says you're a poor performer.
Your actual performance is not a consideration.
Not if you are a poor performer.
The only purpose seems to be lowering expectations over the long term as a means of eventually making smaller bonuses a more positive experience. Right now, if someone has a 10% Target and let's say that means a $10k bonus, if they get an $8000 bonus they feel like they didn't get what they "deserved". Without the target, the mindset is more like 'cool, i got an $8k bonus'. Of course the rub is people that were here when there was a target, if they get less they'll still be bummed. Long term it makes sense I guess, short term it's kind of a mess.
Come on, man! It's WF. What do you think they're going to do.....!
LOLOLOLOLOL.......no
Has this company done right by most employees in the past 5 years or since Schart has taken over? Highly doubtful.
No faith in wf anymore that’s why I found a new job.
should get guidance over the next week as HR begins year end compensation discussions with managers. stay tuned to this space for more details in the coming days.
I was told that this is less about a target in a specific job and more around mot having people get huge leaps in the bonus by job hopping around. So you had better come in at a high % because bonuses will not stay consistent with your job duties.
Like in a job with 4 people on the same level, their salary and bonus percentage can be wildly different. Why most new people coming IN are requiring a guaranteed bonus while the long term losers will be paid less to make up for it.
Basically they will be pushing people off the stagecoach - being here long term other than stagnant will do you no good.
How much will my bonus be?
I need an answer, stat!
Zero
