Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Work to rule/Job action

If you are not happy with how Verizon OR the your union CWA/IBEW are representing your views. A work to rule is a way of protesting without being insubordinate. Right now workers have more power than ever. Look in the media, people are fed up and are getting results. Why wait until the vaccine is mandated by the union/company to show your dissatisfaction. Right now is the time to express YOUR views. Do your job, do it safely, do it by the book. This is something you can do to protest either Verizon or your Union for not representing YOUR lives. The CWA already caved to AT&T. Do NOT let this happen to us.

OP is right. I went from a 1.2 productivity Hours Per Job to a 2.5 HPJ. Slow down, be deliberate. The Rhona can bite you if you move too fast.

The Union should not agree to this supposed mandate because the FDA approved Pfizer vax is called COMIRNATY which is not being rolled out to the public until all the inventory is gone from the doses that were already out under emergency use. So if your forced - be sure your getting one that is actually FDA approved ... The union should also be sure its out to the public as well if they go along with this - but weekly testing option should also be available if your union is any good.

The sheep in this thread like to be told what to do. Maybe you can line up your quarterly boosters with your quarterly pulse surveys. That way you can double kiss a-s to your leaders.

Just take the jab and stop being a si--y mary. 95% of the union membership has no problem with this.
