Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Trouble recruiting in NJ?

On FUEL now - 'Enhanced associate referral program for NJ based roles'. Not only are they offering 30,000 Living Proof points (approximately $3,000 reward equivalent), they have a prepared LinkedIn post that you can personalize and add to your feed.

Having an associate referral program is typically not a bad idea. Not sure how many current associates will be willing to refer/recommend given morale and Frank's "flexible" RTO with butts in seats 5 days a week.

"Jersey is the state that brought us such brilliant individuals as Snooki, Jwoww and The Situation... how much more talent does Fiserv need?"

How dare you exclude DJ Pauly D! For real though. If you believe the current culture aligns with the values of people you would consciously refer for a position, I dare you to recruit half a dozen people to apply. Most us can't. Most of us won't. Let them find the baby lambs on their own.

Amazing the losers who come to this site to talk despairingly about the company that pays their bills…disgusting really.

Doesn't every associate have a 10,000 point annual cap? Is this payable over three years?

They're going to have a very difficult time recruiting in NJ. Geographically - Far too competitive a job market with a glut of talent who wont be attracted by a rigid policy requiring most roles to be physically present in the office, cronyism and not terribly competitive pay.

The only bodies who will be interested are mediocre suburban talent, who wont add anything of value.

Ha ha ha. An office that will sit empty because no one wants to work there. Hope that negates the tax credits.

Trying to yank you by the chain with tidbits of money/tokens. I have heard that it is hard to find bodies in NJ, especially since they are not the only companies out there looking for staff.
